Meet the Doctor

Dr. Markham’s journey in dentistry began with a passion for helping others and a deep appreciation for the impact of quality dental care on people’s lives. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University, he completed his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, graduating in 1985. Since then, he has dedicated his career to providing high quality, conservative dentistry in a quiet and comfortable setting. He is also an active member of the Texas Dental Association and the American Dental Association, staying connected to the latest standards and advancements in patient care.

Dr. Markham believes in more than just treating teeth; he believes in treating people. Dr. Markham takes the time to understand each patient’s needs and ensures every question is answered thoroughly. His goal is for every patient to leave feeling informed, confident, and genuinely cared for.

Personal Life & Community Involvement

Outside the office, Dr. Markham is a devoted family man. He and his wife share a beautiful life together, and he is the proud father of three children and a grandfather to one grandchild who brings endless joy to their family. When he’s not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time at his family ranch in Waco, cheering on the Houston Astros, and exploring Houston’s vibrant restaurant scene.

Dr. Markham has always believed in giving back to the community that has supported him for decades. Over the years, he has volunteered and coached with Post Oak Little League, the Spring Branch–Memorial Sports Association, and the Exchange Club of the Bayou City. He also served as chairman of Hoop It Up and remains an active member of Second Baptist Church.

His commitment to service extends to supporting local organizations that strengthen and protect Houston families, including the Escape Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse, Ronald McDonald House, Toys for Tots, and school supply drives benefiting children across the city.
